Prepare the Way!

THE INSPIRATION CAFE BLOG by Adele M. Gill Prepare the Way! PHIL 1:4-6, 8-11 “Brothers and sisters:  I pray always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. God is my witness,  how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception,  to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.” Many of you have asked about the distribution of this blog. Each time I pray and post what comes, it goes out to about 1000 people via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Mail Chimp. It is my own little evangelization effort designed to lead souls to Jesus Christ. Special thanks to all who like or share these posts, as it is an easy way for my readers to help to spread the Good News even further into the blogoshere! Please know I pray regularly for you and all my readers for Jesus’ presence in your life through the power of the Holy Spirit, and for His mighty blessings upon your lives and that of your family. Most of all I pray for discernment of God’s Will in your life. That you will embrace God’s Divine Will for you...

It has, indeed, been a scary time for my husband and me, as it has made walking, breathing and speaking very difficult. Since that time, I have had many health challenges that have also included blurred vision,  contractures in my hands making them hard to use, and beginning to use a wheelchair for distance walking as the muscles around my lungs and trunk are very weak. It was, a scary time for me, wedged between needing a wheelchair, being unable to breathe and speak when fatigued. Yet in prayer, the Lord led me away from fear and into a greater confidence in His healing power… The doctors have told me that as of now, there is no treatment left to try for this progressive neuro-muscular condition, as we have tried them all. However, I am fully confident in my soul that Jesus is with me, I am not alone, He has a plan, and He is capable of providing a blessed good healing for me…Just not sure how or when He will accomplish this good work! Looking back, in the face of fear and angst about what was to come, I made an optimistic  decision early on. Optimism is very important for realizing maximal health. It can be the reason a person can defy all odds and move past a dire prognosis. That decision was...
