If you are living and breathing, you will eventually meet your wall. An unwelcome obstacle that stops you in your tracks. It could be a problem at home in your marriage, with your young or adult children, a problem at work with co-workers, or a even through a situation such as an addiction that is beyond your reach and control. Eventually, all

of us come to a point where we feel things are impossible, and wonder where we can turn for help, respite, or both. So when you hit bottom, where do you turn? Where do you place your hope?“Jesus looked at them and said,

         “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

 Mark 10:27

In the ups and downs of daily life, it is such a blessing to know we are not alone. For even in the depths of despair, the Lord is with us. He is there as we struggle to right our lives; He is there for us when we fall short. Our Lord and Savior will never leave us; but the question really is, will we allow Him to help us through average, uneventful days, and harrowing times alike? Will we but call on Jesus to help show us the way as we traverse through darkness into light?

Like a mother’s anguished cries for her children, will we ask for help along the way to ease the pain and weariness of chaotic daily life? Surely we all benefit when we do our part, and trust that God is in control of all that is beyond our reach.

So go on…Take a prayerful minute today and recognize your greatest challenge, the source of your pain. Ask God to take control of all that is beyond your reach, and stand tall trusting that in His omnipotence, He will see you through. “Walk by faith, not by sight,” and wait and see what transpires knowing that you are in the best of hands…

And when God intervenes in your life, no matter how great or small – He will intercede for you if you ask Him to – and blessed things will happen. For when we trust in God, attitudes and hearts change, doors of opportunity open, chaos is quelled and replaced with a deep, abiding peace. Grief flies on the wings of time, and relationships are mended. For nothing is impossible with God…With Him all things work for good!
