“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever.”

Psalm 107:5

It is eternally important to find a way to give God thanks & praise for all His blessings upon your life, and your children and loved ones. You can manifest your gratitude in a myriad of ways, for God has done wonderful things for you! Thank Him in early-morning prayer for the privilege to rise and shine. Praise Him & thank Him even in the depths of your infirmity; thank Him even before He moves on your behalf to help you or heal you. Lift up your loved ones to Him draped with confidence; for this is the day of His goodness, mercy & grace. Sing His praises on high from the mountain tops and from the shadowy valley where you live; that you will find favor in your joy-filled refrain, and He will bring you closer to Jesus Christ.

Open your hearts to the sound of Jesus’ voice, and let Him dry all your tears. Open the doors and windows in your heart. For now is the time to worship, and praise God in the name of Jesus! For all that is right, all that is just, all that is true and pure, wholesome and holy comes from the Lord. Weighted down with feelings of unworthiness, Jesus beckons us to come to Him anyway, despite our many imperfections—and because of them. Offering unsurpassed mercy and grace to all who seek Him with an open heart, He waits for us to join Him and to enter into His presence–even if just for a brief retreat or respite. For whenever we lift up Jesus’ name in prayers of gratitude and praise, we are immediately and eternally blessed.

Savior of the World, Jesus IS the key to living a blessed life; He IS the light, and life; the lamp to your feet, to keep you on the high road to Eternity. Don’t worry that you are undeserving of His sublime, divine love. We all are unworthy. For what man or woman could ever rightfully boast their worthiness of the love of Jesus? It is His grace that calls and sustains us!

The love of people pales in comparison to the love of God. And even the righteous fall far short of His commands. For the love of God is light years past our understanding and capacity to Love. His Love has no bounds and never ends. However, we are called to accept, embrace, and emulate the love of Jesus with others. For we were created in His image, and He has commanded us to strive to love as He loves. Despite our inability to love unconditionally, Christians are commissioned by Jesus to love God and serve each other with all our strength.

Alone, without God, we can do nothing. We are nothing. We have nothing. God is everything to us, and all that we have belongs to Him, begins with Him, and ends with Him. Jesus is all-loving, Omnipotent, and Almighty. He is the King of Kings, the Great Healer; Provider, Comforter, Protector, Lord and Savior. He is the most loving, trusted friend and life companion we will ever have.

Following God’s Only Son, Jesus, is a choice. We can seek Jesus anytime, anywhere, and we will find Him. Jesus is our strength–even and especially- in times of failure, disappointment, discord and disharmony, fear, anxiety, depression. His unfailing truth still stands: Jesus is the great lover, forgiver, and healer, of souls. We need to run to Him as we go through this challenging life. Let His strength be yours as He fights your battles with you and for you, on every front. Trust Him with it all—you will never regret it!
