Everyone needs to feel loved… But have you ever wondered if you are lovable and loved?
I’m here to tell you are loved by God, The One who really matters. It’s true!
Scripture of the Day:
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39
God’s Love Reserved Just For You
God loves you as is….What would you say if I told you that God, your Creator, loves you unconditionally, just the way you are? That’s right –“as is!” You are lovable and loved! God created you, though He knows everything about you: your strengths, and weaknesses; the wonderful, the good, the bad, and the ugly. There is nowhere to hide from the Love of God. Yet the Living God loves you profoundly all the same, like no one else ever could. He has always been there for you, just waiting for you to seek Him with all your heart and invite Him in. Could today be the day?
Are You Going Through a Tough Time?
He is here to help you through every season of your life with His unwavering, enduring, eternal Love. God beckons you to come to Him, through His Son Jesus, and lay your failings and weaknesses and burdens down at His feet. When you do, He will give you a fresh start, a new life; and you will want to worship and serve Him, not out of duty or obligation, but out of gratitude for His unearned, undeserved Love. It is then, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and His grace, that God will save and bless you in unprecedented ways, far beyond anything you can possibly imagine. For scripture tells us:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
How different life is when we believe that God loves us “As is” and sent Jesus, His Only Son, Our Lord and Savior, to die for us to redeem us of our sins. Though we all repeatedly fall short of the calling God has bestowed upon each of our lives, He holds each of us in the palm of His Almighty right hand.
The truth is, none of us can possibly earn God’s Love, as it is His unending gift to us, freely and generously given. When we make things right with Him, God cleans the slate, and forgiveness is ours. He gives us grace and peace. God treasures each of us “As is,” as only He can, even as He waits patiently for us to invite Jesus into our lives to be renewed. Those who do, are saved from the throes of sin and death, as Jesus leads them to Eternal Life.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
God’s Grace & Mercy Prevail
So what does all this mean? The bottom line is this: Through God’s unparalleled mercy, compassion, and grace prevails. His love is an “as is” Love, and He blesses believers who place their trust in Him. If you seek God with all your heart, you will find Him, and be forever changed for the better, as He blesses you with a new life in Christ Jesus.
