Trust God: He Loves You “As Is”

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.”

Whom do you trust? Do you trust our Almighty God who loves you just the way you are, “As is?” Or is there someone else you trust more, turn to, before Him?

For some people, trusting in God comes naturally. They are able to turn to Jesus in prayer, even before turbulence hits in their life and they are struggling to get their bearings. For many people, seeking God’s help is an afterthought; it does not come into play at all until all seems lost, and their situation becomes dire. And some still try to go it alone.  But I say, take it all to Jesus first!

No One Loves “As Is” You Like Jesus!

We really do serve a Mighty, all-powerful God, One who is Aal-knowing and ever-present. No one will ever love you like He does! Worthy of your trust, He always wants the very best for you. There isn’t anything God wouldn’t and couldn’t do for us, His children, when we ask Him; and that includes you and me! Who could we ever trust that stands ready and able to help us in every way like God does?

So who do you trust and turn to first for help when times get tough—yourself? Your closest friend? Your family? What about turning to God first???

Some of us are cautious about trusting anyone at all, unable to trust others, even Jesus. But alone, without God, what can we really do? The hard truth is, precious little! But here’s the biblical truth. When you understand the following Scripture you will be renewed in your ability to trust God more. For the answer to your trust issues is best found in the following passage:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above…” James 1:17:

The bottom line is this: if it’s good, it’s from God—and it’s all good! He is forever trustworthy, worthy of our praise—so pray fervently. Ask God for whatever you need with anticipation and gratitude for all your blessings, in the name of Christ Jesus. TRUST Him in both the big and small things, for He stands in wait for you to bring it all to Him!

Let it settle into your very being that we are all imperfect beings; but you are both lovable, and profoundly loved “As is,” by the God Who created you all the same…ar beyond your human comprehension. He takes care of and provides for the entire universe, and all of humanity, as well as simple sparrows that fly in the air, and He will take care of you and all your needs, as only He can, too. Just ask!

Why not turn to God in all things, taking it all to Jesus – God’s Only Son – FIRST? He is The One who has already proven His tremendous love for each of us by dying on the cross for your sins and mine. Go to Him before anyone else with whatever you have on your heart and mind. You will never be disappointed when you do.

When you pray, Praise God heartily; praise Him when He answers your prayers just as you had hoped, and also when you don’t get exactly what you want according to your prayers and plans. That just means He’s got a better plan in the works for you!

Praise Jesus in all things, because in the end, there is no one else who will ever love you, just the way you are, imperfections and failings and all, “As is,” like Jesus!
