There is a familiar Christmas song that has been out for several years called “Mary Did You Know.” In this song, as in its title, the question is posed as to whether Mary knew her baby boy would rule all nations. How different this world would be had Mary not said “Yes.”
Many times we try to run away from whatever is bothering us. Perhaps it is time to step toward it instead! Acknowledging ones brokenness is the first step in the healing process. Prayer can give us the courage to face any circumstance with God’s help—especially if it is difficult to do.
It is through Jesus that our weary souls are resuscitated and we are made whole once again when we are depleted of our own strength.
